As a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, Expressive Arts Therapist and Somatic Therapist with 7+ years of experience, my hope is to be a guiding force in helping you to navigate life’s challenges, build more meaningful lives and step into your best version of yourself.

I’m a Surrey-based therapist who specializes in trauma-focused, body-centric, somatically based counselling working with trauma survivors in all phases and walks of life. Here, we meet and greet your past limitations, limiting beliefs, transforming your childhood attachment wounds,or healing from trauma. I am here to offer you choice, curiosity and an opportunity to nurture your voice in the sea of challenges that are life. Learn to navigate life’s stressors, discover a balance of work vs play, and befriend your overactive mind amidst a world of chaos. We may never have been taught to navigate emotional regulation or figuring out how to settle our nervous systems. Now is the perfect time to learn these skills and find our own internal wisdom and compass.

I have lived experience as an expert and survivor of trauma — I have walked the walk and talked the talk, discovered what works for me - and what doesn’t. Having a repetoire of various exercises (over 100+) allows me to not only share but to customize my support and treatment plan for my clients so they can figure out how what works for them - to live their best life in much less time and with much less strife.

I work with trauma, PSTD, children’s trauma, anxiety, stress and burn out, depression, life transitions, career guidance, self esteem and self compassion.  My approach is geared towards a trauma-informed, strengths-focused and body-centered approach that invites greater resiliency in clients through self -expression, inner wisdom, and creativity.

Therapy doesn’t need to be hard – it can be playful and a powerful learning experience. I often use creative imagery and descriptive metaphors to harness the imagination, bringing visualization, mindfulness, and meditation to evoke greater peacefulness.

Together, we can explore your emotions, feelings and stressors with a holistic approach that integrates body-mind connection. I’m super passionate about creating opportunity for more moments of curiosity, acceptance, and heart-focused intention. I love supporting my clients' personal growth in creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space for transformation and healing.

Techniques such as talk therapy, breathwork, gentle movement, body awareness exercises, somatic therapy, art and mindfulness are all melded together with a focus on restoring your sense of balance, releasing stress, promoting balance of your nervous system - and enhancing well being.

Some of the integrative modalities that I work with include Somatic Experiencing, Focusing Oriented Therapy, Focusing Oriented Art Therapy, Expressive Arts and Art Therapy, Parts Work, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and Narrative Therapy.
