Anxiety Therapy
A different kind of therapy.
Anxiety is prevalent in our society - particularly with the fear and uncertainty that our world brings with it. There is so much in our lives that threatens our balance and sense of calmness.
Learning to cope with the overwhelm, rumination and excess worry that accompanies anxiety starts with seeing the world with different glasses. By focusing your perspective and attention on love instead of the chaos presented by the news, we are able to let go of the drama - to breathe, to release, to let go. It is like shining a light in the darkness and illuminating the beauty of our scars so that we can transform our experiences into lessons and new ways of well being.
By taking a holistic approach, we look at what feeds you at a heartfelt level. Heavy hearts filled with hopelessness highlight the stress we feel. Every trigger is an opportunity to choose peace and find the courage within. Guiding us to rise above fears and limitations.
Create and shape your destiny by using your imagination to benefit you, rather than hold you back.

Anxiety shows up in many ways — as uncomfortable emotions, sensations and symptoms—as fast moving thoughts that are not grounded in reality. Distortions of the mind show up as projections of the past - our biases, fears, judgements.
Our world can feel threatening and dangerous at times. Our bodies hold the energy of this tension in the form of anxiety symptoms.
Our autonomic nervous system is built to scan for cues of safety or danger, through neuroception and our bodily felt sense.
When we feel our safety is threatened, our system shifts as the body prepares to fight or flee. You might feel heightened aggression. defiance, impulsivity, or control issues showing up. Or we may move towards shutting down - through apathy, withdrawal, avoidance, or numbness,
When we operate from a place of safety, our nervous system supports flexibility - as well as connection and curiosity.
We become aware of our thoughts that fan the flames of anxiety and in doing so, allow us to “name it and tame it”.
Our brain have to work harder with a multitasking and a problem solving mind. Luckly our brains are able to change and shift . This neuroplasticity helps us change in response to our experiences. Entering into dialog with our experiences creates possibility for change. Asking ourself the questions that lift us up and set us free helps us to learn optimism — and thus greater resiliency and peace.
